Mr. Bashar is a Senior Engineering Consultant for transportation government sector in Dubai since 2006.

As a consulting professional he is responsible for taking on lead roles in the ongoing programme consulting of the public and marine transport agencies of governmental authorities operations and maintenance. Bashar is involved in technology evaluation based on performance, risks, requirements and cost. He is also responsible for the analysis of driver accident modes and causes to reduce bus accident costs and losses. He has drafted public transport maintenance processes, maintenance operational indices, balanced scorecard, risk management systems, and supervised Multi billion dollar procurement contracts from TOR stages to award SLA's Management .

Bashar has produced fleet insurance policies and is involved with severe accident investigation. He manages all agency related contracts and service level agreements for assets operation and maintenance repair operations. He is also consultant for maintenance infrastructure facility requirements at five maintenance depots,

From 2002 to 2006 Bashar was Manufacturing Process Engineer at Boston Whaler in Florida where he was responsible for multiple process improvement projects, simulation, tooling redesigns, and co-championed in multiple six-sigma projects. Between 1999 to 2002 Bashar was with CSX, a railroad transportation company, as Intermodal Service Representative in Orlando, Florida. His responsibilities included rail operations management: daily operations of train loading and unloading activities.
